Chinese Social Credit Is Vastly Superior to the Western System of Banning/Jailing Dissidents
I like Chinese
I’m not remotely concerned about the fake media fear-porn messaging that, “Oooooh, the PRC is flagging Internet comments by its citizens and punishing critics!” This is sickening agitprop.
This idea that Chinese citizens lack basic freedoms is a slur by the media against a nation that happens to be in the economic crosshairs of Washington and its satellites. On any accounting of people on the ground there, China has vastly more basic freedom than America or other Western countries caving to the virus hoax.
· In China they are not doing any bizarre Covid lockdowns to destroy their economy, but America keeps doing these in various states (only Chinese exception was very briefly in Wuhan at the beginning of the plandemic). China has been mainly wide open throughout the past two years. It’s obvious our media is also pumping up the idea of locking everyone down again this winter.
· Xi is an actual popular leader, whereas we have the Biden figurehead to symbolize a straight-up coup against Donald Trump, whose 2020 landslide was stolen by a cabal of bloodthirsty usurpers.
· People are basically free to criticize the Chinese government if they want to, although there is this thing called a Social Credit System that was rolled out in test programs a few years ago. If anything, the American system is way worse, a vast collusion between our illegitimate federal government and a group of tech giants who all agree that they deserve to own everyone and rule everything with all-out impunity.
It’s not easy to compare the CSCS with any similar American system because nothing here resembles it. We used to do community social shaming based on Christian values (like shunning sexual deviants); now we do social shaming based on total gibberish Political Correctness values (like shunning people who have doubts about the safety of giving prepubescent children hormone blockers).
But there aren’t many parallels really. Americans aren’t anywhere near as socialized toward groupthink as most Asian cultures are.
On the other hand, there’s an attempt to impose rigid uniformity from on high by this renegade Biden cartel. So Americans are being crushed with ruthless blowback for transgressing the weird rules created by our rulers, with everything from social media bans, all the way up to being jailed and tortured for disagreeing online or IRL with official government policy.
What Exactly Is the Chinese Social Credit System We Are Supposed to Be Horrified By?
The Chinese Social Credit System cannot hold a candle to the demonic energy of suppression, enforcement and censorship in place in America or in most European nations, or in Australia or New Zealand.

But what exactly does it mean to say that the government in China has a social credit system? As far as I can tell, it doesn’t mean that anyone is being jailed, or even really prevented from saying what they want to say, or from criticizing the government. All of those talking points can be traced to Western-backed, and mainly Washington-based, propaganda against a nation they perceive as an economic rival.
In China, the Social Credit System is basically a very modest and low-key response by an understandably concerned state against foreign meddling in its affairs of state.
Let’s look at how this goofy system works. (It’s not goofy because it’s Chinese; it’s just goofy to frame it as some sort of Soviet-era regime of suppression. It’s pretty new, nothing so far has really happened with it, and even the few things that have happened are way more reasonable than anything I indexed in Western countries above.)
The CSCS consists of some really variegated, and locally designed, rules in place about “trustworthiness” which are basically extensions of financial credit ratings. Just like in the USA, the Chinese government tracks how well its citizens do at paying bills on time and paying back loans. It’s a reasonable and well-known way of deciding who you can trust to rent to or do business with, right? Yes. Well, the CSCS takes that idea and tries to extend it to broader stuff like, “This man. He says bad you online? No good comment. Score low.”
It’s pretty funny and benign really. Americans have trouble grokking this kind of thing because of our frankly hyper-individualistic worldview (something which is both a strength and a weakness in different contexts).
When western media invoke this Chinese Communist Bogeyman of social credit, they’re depending on you to think of book burnings, and people being hauled from their homes in the middle of the night for leaving a naughty comment on Facebook. It is NOTHING of the kind. It’s a mild attempt to discourage literal anti-government terrorism, and encourage pro-social behavior—something which is already thoroughly ingrained in Chinese culture, and something Americans could do with a lot more of ourselves! (It’s called Christianity.)
The Chinese system is nothing like being fired, or deprived of a career, or being jailed or tortured for wrongthink. (If you are afraid of stuff like that, you best be vacating America (or Europe) quick!) But that’s the impression of it the western press wants you to have. Meanwhile, all of those measures—banning, firing, extreme public humiliation and doxing—are happening throughout the Western countries. At the same time, the unified mainstream media continues to write about America as if this country were some haven of Dumb-ocracy and Free-dumbs. It ain’t! This government is putting the Bolsheviks to shame with these current measures.
What’s Happening in China?
I haven’t ever been to China, but I know plenty of people who have lived there and traveled there. My grandparents lived in Hong Kong happily for many years (still a British possession at the time). People who live in or travel to China will tell you these news stories about government oppression are fake. The Chinese government is doing very little censorship against people’s free speech.
What’s actually happening is that China is enjoying a gigantic economic boom as a result of taking advantage of wonderful trade deals and business opportunities sent their way by (checks notes) by the same governments now demonizing China. How does that work?
It’s part of a much more complex plan for a New World Order and everything we all know is happening with the virus hoax and the related climate change hoax. Bracket the larger globalist hoaxes for a minute. Essentially, when it comes to China, they are not cooperating with the United Nations/World Economic Forum/Great Reset agenda.
What are the Chinese doing? They are becoming increasingly and zealously nationalistic, but are not remotely belligerent toward other nations. They only want two things: to sell high quality product and low price, and enjoy happy life for Chinese people.
Sounds like a great plan! Much better than, “You’ll own nothing, and you’ll be happy!”
But our rulers in the Western governments can’t figure out what to do about China. It’s clear some think that military force is the answer to get China in line with the worldwide plan to demolish its own middle class and deplete all its wealth for international banks. Regardless, China appears to be blessed with a government and business class that actually cares about and wishes to prosper the citizens.
Are Western Governments Panicking About Rising Chinese Dominance?
The Biden Cabal views China as an economic rival, which is accurate. But the projection of animosity is the shop neurosis of Washington, and has nothing to do with anything that has been coming from China, either officially or in policy. It is the Biden regime which is illegitimate, which has zero popular backing, and which perceives its entire tax base as terrorists on the verge of blowing up the government at any time. They also literally instigate false flag events in rival nations, like China, in order to subvert those nations’ governments.
Obviously, no government on earth appreciates having subversives in its host nation, including the Chinese government. Who would? But the subversives in China aren’t authentic critics; they are totally backed by Western state terrorism. Google Falun Gong. (Better yet: use Brave browser or DuckDuckGo because, if you can believe it, Google is one of the platforms that heavily censors info that is counter-Narrative.)
Falun Gong is a CIA-backed cult that takes harmless and mundane Chinese ideas about breathing and meditation and jams in propaganda about organ-harvesting by the state; then the cult operators stage these bizarre protests inside China to try to attack the government as anti-human monsters who need to be overthrown.
The cringey hand-wringing in Western media about muh Chinese Social Credit is beyond the pale of hypocrisy. These journalists are the exact same people who RUN to the moderators of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and their own news orgs to DEMAND that anyone who criticizes them, or Democrat Party leaders, or msm coverage, or their ownership be totally silenced.
But these same censorship bots are deebly goncerned about making sure the poor Chinese Falun Gong cultists and color revolution attention whores in Hong Kong have their grievances redressed by the alleged human rights abusers in Beijing.
The DC Government has been doing trojan horse attacks like these in lots of countries for decades and, it so happens that they are now taking aim at China. Note that there is little or no disagreement in the mainstream media between Democrats and Republicans about China. All are agitating for ongoing hostility and punishment of the evil Chinese.
The primary purpose for the wall-to-wall anti-Chinese xenophobia on both sides of the aisle and throughout the media is to wreck China, either militarily or economically. Neither prong looks likely to succeed.
Meanwhile, the anti-China shills also wish to do as much harm as possible to normal Americans, either sacrificing them as cannon fodder or destroying their finances through yet another disastrous foreign war, this time against China.
The Chinese people are poised to dominate the 21st century if things keep developing as they have been since American rulers chose to sell out our manufacturing base to Chinese companies. Sucks for us! But it has NOTHING to do with these totally fake sob stories about rounding up Uighur Muslims into concentration camps, or the claim (HOAX!) that Christianity is being eradicated or banned in China.
What a lot of people who have lived in China will tell you is that Chinese law works in a very different way from Western law. In the context of Chinese courts, the word ‘law’ shouldn’t be read or understood as it would be in the USA or even the EU. “Laws” are more like broad suggestions that everyone in China already is totally inclined to follow, implicitly. And unlike America, China doesn’t suffer under a weird group of anti-populist politicians who try to create bizarre laws to destroy the lives of the population.
But we do have that here.
I like this article but I still take 1 social point from you and give it to me.
