Appointing Psychos Like Rubio and Stefanik Proves Trump Will Double Down on Demented Biden Policy (Both Foreign and Domestic)
No one can explain these wars
Why can’t anyone remember 2016 Trump?
Let me walk you back through that.
In 2016, Trump stood on the Republican debate stage and told the television audience of millions that the George W. Bush wars had been a disaster for our country.
There were two gigantic and opposite reactions.
Every Republican politician and media pundit flipped their lids in furious hatred of Trump’s obviously accurate statement about their sham/scam wars.
And every Republican voter (and many “moderates”) rejoiced, and cheered and applauded and vowed to back Trump as a peace candidate.
I still believe that line played as big a role in earning him the nomination as all of his promises to build a wall and deport Mexican rapists.
He didn’t follow through on any of that, by the way.
Just for those of you keeping score.
He didn’t build a wall. He didn’t deport as many people as Obama had deported. And he appointed a series of maniacs to key cabinet positions who ensured that he’d be unable to accomplish any meaningful peacemaking efforts in winding down those insane wars he criticized.
If you lived through it, you remember it: Bolton, Pompeo, Grenell. Morons!
Fast forward eight years. Trump is promising unconditional American military support for Israel to fight a seven-front war (Bibi’s words).
And although Trump is personally saying some promising things about ending American aid and arms to the Ukraine, he is also out there pushing or appointing all of the same most unhinged warmongers to the same key positions as last time.
Let’s review Joe Biden’s disgraceful foreign policy tenure:
He abandoned Afghanistan (I’m glad we withdrew, but I agree with people who were infuriated at how cowardly and irresponsible the thing went with abandoning all of our equipment and pretending none of it ever happened).
He whined about China’s alleged human rights violations, while describing his own political opponents as domestic terrorists and sending his own Justice Department thugs to drag Americans from their homes for being anti-abortion.
He relentlessly agitated China with the spy balloon hoax (remember that?), threatening them in outrageous (if incoherent) press conferences and sailing US ships through Chinese waters in a hectic display of hypocrisy and hubris.
He pushed every inch and level of Ukrainian propaganda about “Stopping Putin”, “Putin’s Gas Hikes” and “Protecting Trans Kids” while trying impotently to punish Russia with lunatic sanctions which have entirely backfired and done immeasurable harm to the US economy, not to mention our ability to compete or do trade confidently with international partners.
He signed blank check after blank check for arms and aid to the Ukraine while opening up our own Souther border more gapingly than it has ever been opened and flooding our country with immeasurable numbers of gangsters, drug dealers, killers and prostitutes.
He whined about Israeli human rights abuses in Gaza and then, each time he so whined, he immediately followed it up with some combination of unconditional support for Israel, more blank checks for Israel, or assurances that a ceasefire was just around the bend, and that Netanyahu understood that “We really mean it this time” and every time Netanyahu would hold his own counter-press-conference in which he would repeat the line, “LOL. LMAO” before bombing six more hospitals in Gaza or Beirut.
But now?
Now Trump is back in office. He’s saying America’s back. He’s vowing sweeping change. All of the MAGA army are bought in.
Many of these people have no idea that Trump ran and won as a peace candidate in 2016, and many more presumably equate “fight war” with “be cool.” Or something. Someone should tell them that “fight war” is all that Biden did in office (or actually, all that his cabinet did).
Peking Joe Says Balloon Was Not Chinese, Which Only Proves He’s in Their Pay
Joe Brandon, known as Peking Joe, is totally controlled by the Chicoms. So it’s hardly surprising he is out there now claiming that the balloon he shot down was not a spy device, and also not from China.
Other MAGA people are aware of the insanity of the Biden wars, but are somehow convinced Trump will stop them.
At first they were saying, “Oh Trump is promising not to fight foreign wars. It’s going to be awesome.”
But now we have news that he is appointing the same lunatics again (or worse) and it’s becoming, “Oh well. That sucks. But he will definitely be better domestically than Biden!”
Really?
Which presidential warmongers have coupled the reckless wars with decent domestic policy?
Bush?
Obama?
Clinton?
I’ll grant you they all loved bombing the hell out of people (especially civilians). But all of their domestic policies were disasters.
Listen, I was just as glad as the next patriot to hear the Trump transition team mentioning names like Joel Salatin, Robert F Kennedy Jr, and Ron Paul. I greatly admire all three of those men, and any one of them would be an enormous influence for good in any administration—assuming it is not all fake news, and assuming they are actually confirmed by the Senate (if needed) and actually permitted to influence things.
The thing is though: none of Trump’s good people were allowed to do anything last time.
Do you remember that?
They were all railroaded, or bullied out of office.
Mike Flynn was supposed to the National Security Advisor, but he only lasted a month because of a hoax launched against him as the first of many “Russian meddling” scam hit jobs.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself over something retarded in the then-imminent Russian election investigation and totally flamed out.
It was all just a series of unending—and often unforced—disasters.
As for the people who got in and did their thing—also uniform disasters. Bolton sabotaged Trump’s excellent work to secure peace in Korea. Pompeo tried to start five new wars. Nikki Haley (who was somehow still being discussed after last week’s election as a potential candidate for a high cabinet position) doesn’t really need to be described for anyone who has ever glimpsed her face.
But anyway.
Over the weekend, Trump nixed the idea that he was going to appoint Pompeo or Haley to do anything this time. A lot of true believers (who want me to celebrate Trump with them) said this was a good sign that he was going to be reasonable with the appointments now.
Well, what have we here?
Donald Trump is expected to tap U.S. Senator Marco Rubio to be his secretary of state, sources said on Monday, putting the Florida-born politician on track to be the first Latino to serve as America’s top diplomat once the Republican president-elect takes office in January.
Rubio was arguably the most hawkish option on Trump’s shortlist for secretary of state, and he has in past years advocated for a muscular foreign policy with respect to America’s geopolitical foes, including China, Iran and Cuba.
First of all, Rubio is gay.
But even if he weren’t (which he is), he is something worse: an unhinged shill for every war.
I’ll just leave this here.
And he’s always been a never Trumper and an effete goofball and attender of Foam Parties.
Oh but now he’s a solid sender to serve as Secretary of State?
Here’s hoping this is fake news.
Another story, though, that is for sure real is about this individual by the name of Elise Stefanik.
She’s a New York Congressman who promotes all the same bullshit wars as Joe Biden, not only the Ukraine nonsense (about which she is unhinged) but far worse, an unapologetic hardcore shill for every inch of the Israel genocide.
I don’t appreciate anyone who supports either of those wars or American involvement in them. But people who support Israel at the same time as supporting the Ukraine are another level of schizo which is impossible to square using any known political calculus. (But outside the scope.)
Trump is making this psychopath our ambassador to the United Nations.
Nice.
She looks so…ambassadorial!
But more relevantly, she is absolutely out of her mind supporting the Biden wars.
This is your mind on MAGA.
Believing that Biden issuing very tepid and occasional reprimands against Israel’s absolute and total bloodbath slaughter of mainly women and children civilians since October 7, 2023 makes Biden a weak and cowardly antisemite who is being righteously overthrown by the hand of God through the almighty power of Donald Trump’s invincible earlobe power.
And that Trump will be helping to do the job Biden simply wouldn’t do, and doing it far more aggressively and rapidly—never mind that “the job” has never been even slightly defined beyond what we know from Netanyahu—that he intends to “eliminate Hamas” which everyone knows can only mean completely leveling Gaza.
Trump also was given $100 million for his campaign by Miriam Adelson, the widow of Israeli-American crime boss Sheldon Adelson, which we have reason to believe was in exchange for promises from Trump to facilitate Israeli annexation of the West Bank.
There’s nothing promising about these first two names from Trump, one a confirmed appointment, the other a pretty sure thing (Rubio). And none of the other names being mentioned for these positions are any better.
Yes, Kennedy is great. Maybe he will ban fluoride from the water supply or help reduce how many forever chemicals are allowed to be baked into your Cheetos. That would be nice. But he won’t be allowed to really go after Pfizer or any of the other Pharma Criminals who killed untold millions during the Scamdemic.
(I want to be wrong about this. I am happy to be wrong when what I am predicting is a bad outcome. I don’t like being right for the sake of personal glory—I only like being right because it is right to tell the truth, and because we need truth, not comforting delusions.)
Yes Ron Paul is great. But the day we end the fed, I’ll be doing something a whole lot more celebratory than writing a blog. And as a matter of fact, when it happens, I will buy all of you a beer.
This article is probably already too long.
Good luck!
